The best experiences of my life have been the times I have studied abroad.

My first time studying abroad was an exchange year during high school from fall 2010 to summer 2011 in North Carolina, USA. That year was amazing in very many ways but one of the best things about it was that I got to do lots of theatre and singing.

The second time I studied abroad was in the summer of 2013. It was all Stanislavski method in St. Petersburg State Theatre Art Academy in Russia. This was such an amazing and challenging time in my life and I just loved the whole experience.

And now the third time was this summer in Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. I totally fell in love with the place and the teaching and I'm so grateful of my time there. Studying musical theatre was awesome and I loved how everything was based on acting - true storytelling.

So basically every time I've studied abroad it's all been about acting and singing. How amazing is that? I sure know what I love to do!

I have always enjoyed a challenge. I like to be pushed. And I love when I got to study with people who have more experience than me so I can learn from them and see that no one is ever ready as a performer and that's what this all is about. Acting, singing and performing is about eternal exploring of yourself and the world around you: what happened before, what's happening now and what can I as a storyteller do for future? And who are the people I'm sharing this world with? How do they act and why?

When studying abroad I have met some of my best friends. I think that's because when have gone to study the right stuff, the things that I'm most passionate about I somehow become more alive. I am naturally a lively and energetic person but trust me if I'm not able to do what I love I get pretty miserable. I have such a strong drive.

Studying the right thing in a right place is just wonderful, especially abroad: No one knows you yet but you don't need to find a time and a place to show what you can do because that's exactly what you came there to do. And around talented and motivated fellow students it's easier to find new things about yourself and make progress.
